It was my favorite store in my hometown of Greensburg, Pennsylvania. My bag was overflowing with Atomic Fire Balls, a few packages of Bazooka bubble gum, Butterfingers, Wax Fangs, Jaw Breakers and candy necklaces. I couldn't get enough of them. Things were no different when I went to Paris to photograph the collections in 1995. This time I wasn't turned away by the doorman at the Ritz, even though I was dressed like a beat poet; I was on assignment for Vogue and registered as a guest.
